The Inspire Aviation discovery flight option is perfect for the prospective pilot who wants to test drive before signing up for a full course of flying lessons. With our discovery flights you will get to experience a little of the excitement that has become addictive to pilots all over the world. We are sure that a discovery flight will stir up your enthusiasm to take that leap and start your flying lessons as quickly as possible.
The discovery flight includes
- A tour of the facilities and our fleet;
- A flying instructor who is available and able to answer all your questions;
- A demonstration of the pre-flight inspection;
- Explanation of the instruments and controls inside the aircraft; and
- YOU being able to taxi and fly the aircraft under the guidance of your instructor.
The discovery flight lasts for a maximum of 75 minutes, this can be logged as it is an actual flying lesson, so for those that are pivoting on the edge and truly love the experience, as we have no doubt you will, you can count the discovery flight as a part of your course of flying lessons.
After you have completed the flight the instructor will debrief you and you will receive a package of information on the various flying lessons available. Should you choose to sign up for flying lessons and begin your journey to becoming a pilot, the discovery flight will count towards your flying hours logged for your Pilot Certificate.
